Elbow pain
| You don't have to play tennis
to have a tennis elbow. Repetitive use of your wrist (such as using
a screw driver or typing) can cause an overload of the tendon which
inserts into the outside and back of the elbow. Some people even struggle to lift a pint glass!
A similar pain on the inside of the elbow is known as a golfers
elbow. |

In any case of elbow pain the chiropractor will always
assess the neck and upper back as this may be linked to the actual cause
of the pain - especially if the patient has pain in both elbows.
Often a shoulder problem will eventually manifest itself as elbow pain.
The wrist is also examined to see if restriction here is causing problems
with the forearm muscles which attach on to the elbow. Elbow pain can
be very stubborn and may last for years if it is not treated properly.
Whatever the injury to the elbow, the chiropractor will tell you why it is happening and treat all the areas involved, so the elbow will heal in the quickest possible time.
